Black Panther (2016) #1
Here we are guys with the issue number one of Black Panther ongoing which is also a part of “A Nation Under Our Feet” storyline. We are still looking into Wakanda and see what’s changed in Secret Wars. The comic opens up as T'Challa recalls his past failures against his ancestors, being cast out from his own country and then to have his own people having questioned him about what he’s really trying to do as a King of that nation.

Then we see the Great Mound where T'Challa tries to praise the Vibranium miners for their hard work but someone’s manipulating them. Filling them with hate and trying to start a Civil War. T'Challa may question himself but he still knows that he is the Black Panther and with that he can track anyone through the wind and rain. Because he hasn’t tracked just the body, he tracks the very soul of a person. But then the deceiver’s scent has gone stale sort and he stops his pursuit with a soldier telling him that he must call the rest of the soldiers before it turns into a massacre.

The comic then cuts to the Golden City of Wakanda where sentencing of Aneka, the former captain of the Royal Guard for killing a chieftain without evidence for his wrongdoings. And it is then quickly change from black and white to gray when someone she cares about is the one being sentenced, the hooded woman speaks after the sentencing.

We then find out that the woman is none other than Ramonda, step-mother to King T'Challa. She asks his son what happened at the mines. He says that he tried to reason with the workers but it was no use. They were listening to someone else. Ramonda asks what they should do now and T'Challa says that he will find her and kill her to stop the madness. But his mother asks if death is always the answer and that Wakanda has bigger troubles than one person. Such as strife, invasion, flood, infiltration and regicide are among other things that he needs to focus on. But T'Challa decides to handle one problem at a time and Ramonda says, he should stop chasing ghosts and what really is important and not to lose oneself in the killing, because he isn’t a soldier but a king.

A King, Not a Soldier
Then the panel shifts to a woman in a green and her complex as we see they have agendas too rather than freeing the people of Wakanda. They are poisoned themselves as new rulers if the uprising works with filling people with rage. We then see former Dora Milaje, Aneka is being held in a prison where a breakout is staged by her lover Ayo. Later at the campfire as they contemplate whether they should be doing right now because they are both as good as dead by going against their king and believe that he does not care about Wakanda anymore.

The Midnight Angels!
We cut to the burial site of the previous Black Panthers, known as Necropolis where T'Challa ponders how long must he divided by his own people, to be hated by his own blood. And as the book ends we see T'Challa try to resuscitate his own sister Shuri.

Departure of Blood
It was a great first issue we see T'Challa think about what’s currently going on with Wakanda and how he copes with everything being a ruler that no one loves or even likes anymore because they just say that he’s just doing this for his own selfish reasons and not care for the people of his own, like he shifts from the previous Black Panthers and we see the inner struggles that has divided T'Challa from his own countrymen to the rest of the world. And he’s also lonely as these family things torn him apart. We see that Shuri is still dead for the most part and he is constantly trying to bring her back at the end. I do like that and we will see what happens next. It’s basically a Civil War. In a Civil War, whistle blowers are rallying up the common folks for no apparent reason or their own agendas which is here we’re trying to claim the throne for themselves, which I also love. Can’t wait for the next issue of this Marvel Comics series but the arc’s a little iffy for me to give this issue a high praise but writer Ta-Nehisi Coates and artist Brian Stelfreeze (Domino, Wednesday Comics) really pulled it nicely in overall.

Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #3 Review

Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #3 The third issue of Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man is here and thus the comedy continued to flow or is this going to take a serious turn so far quite a few things have happened. In this comic, quite obviously we've seen Peter Parker 's sister show back up. We've seen a few other things such as Johnny Storm take a moral or you know, supporting role in this and he's really kind of getting fleshed out along with the rest of the characters. We saw Peter Parker takes on Iron Heart and this time in this issue we're going to see him go face to face with the one and only the Kingpin of crime; Wilson Fisk . Karnak of The Inhumans makes a brief appearance in the course of the story. Now of course this will not be the first time these characters are ever going to meet and it's definitely not going to be the last time and there's a lot of humor, that's tossed into this comics. You can definitel...

Superior Spider-Man #3 Review

Superior Spider-Man #3 Welcome everybody to memory you Superior Spider-Man number three from Marvel Comics . Seriously, why does he need a Spider-Signal anyway? let's get into this because that the comic opens and we see that Jameson has put up the Spider-Signal and he's swinging around it and he wins and he started getting into a conversation and Spider in psych listen only an idiot would put this up and let's all my enemies know where I'm gonna be. Like, what kind of idiot are you? I agree it's kind of funny but the comic goes on as Jameson and Spider-Man talks. I have a conversation we see the girl there and later on in the lab he we see that Peter is actually modifying even further so he cannot detect The Vulture 's wings on the magnetic wings and the signal they give off because obviously it's auto and he knows his stuff like he is trying to do good at least. So, as he goes on you know swing in and we see that it's Adrian Toomes ; A...

Black Panther (2016) #2 Review

Black Panther (2016) #2 Can Black Panther stop this Wakandan Civil War or will his hatred, pride and doubt will sink him in whole. Lets’ get on this issue and find out. The comic opens up to us with the Shield of the Nation where T'Challa is getting information on who might be behind on trying to start this war. Some of the evidence points to Killmonger but we find out that he is dead now. It was his patience for part he was trying to create the perfect tool to control the hearts of men. With that, Killmonger ’s creation is twisting the minds of men all over Wakanda and even at the Great Mound , where the massacre happened ( Black Panther (2016) #1 ). T'Challa says that he has tracked the witch to the frontier but he will go alone. But his step-mother Ramonda tells him that he won’t be going alone because he is king and who will take over if he somehow dies, the soldiers will go instead. T'Challa explains this is not a fight that is easily resolved with weap...

Royals #7 Review

Royals #7 The Royal family of Inhumans finds themselves in more trouble than ever before in Royals monthly ongoing series, issue number 7 . So, let's get right in. Once again as we get into the comic we are taken to five thousand years from now where we see the last Inhuman is observing an epic battle but before we can continue on with that, we actually transition over to modern day where we see another battle happening in an arena here. Things are going a bit different. There's a lot of emotion to be tossed around specifically between one member of the Badoon named Dara Ko Eke and Captain Swain . Now, if you don't know them, they're actually a very popular race in Marvel and Swain and this is kind of in relation to some relationships and things that are going on now. While that's going on things aren't exactly progressing as well for Gorgan as he was captured by those lizard people. Things are turning out pretty bad for him. For one, these dude...

Extraordinary X-Men #2 Review

Extraordinary X-Men #2 Mutants from past, present and future will need to unite to help overcome one of the darkest moments in their history. All these and more in the pages of Extraordinary X-Men issue number two. As the comic opens X-Men Magik and Colossus on their way to recruit their old friend Nightcrawler but they don’t find the blue elf, they do find his tail however and a puddle of his blood. But seems like Kurt Wagner can always loose on his tail and find another new one. Well, that may not be fun but at the very least that is a condolence. We can only assume that he was taken down by the new incarnation of the Marauders whom we saw chasing him previously for some unknown reason ( Extraordinary X-Men #1 ). In Neepawa , Manitoba , Canada , Iceman and Storm meet up with Logan for the very first time. Needless to say that all parties involved are pretty confused right about now. Well then Logan tells them that he’s from the future, a very different and alternat...

The Clone Conspiracy #2 Review

The Clone Conspiracy #2 So, just when you think Peter Parker cannot handle any twist that you thrown at him at the end of The Clone Conspiracy #1 , found out that his first love Gwen Stacy is very well alive and she knew that he was the Amazing Spider-Man on ‘ The Night She Died ’ and as this comics starts, it’s going to be quite shocking for him but not in just the way you might imagine because the creator of the “ Clone Saga ”, the Jackal has been on a cloning spree and he’s cloned quite a lot of familiar faces. Not only are them the villains but it’s almost anybody that have died while Spider-Man was around. So, you can see how this could go bad. The book starts with the Scarlet Spider running or should I say, webbing his way out of a crazy mob of San Franciscans  that is infected by the Carrion Virus that made them all act like a pack of ravaging Zombies and it was on an alternate universe. Kaine was desperately asking for a Portal jump as he was out of webs an...

Extraordinary X-Men #1 Review

Extraordinary X-Men #1 A brand new era of the merry mutants are about to begin in the pages of the first issue of brand new monthly ongoing Extraordinary X-Men . Since it is a new X-Title lots of expectations and speculations were made before it was even released and now it’s here for us to find out how it turns out to be. The comics opens with Ororo Munroe aka Storm sitting at Charles Xavier ’s desk. Although I suppose you could call it her desk in her office now. Because, Wolverine is gone, Beast is off with the Inhumans tying to help them out with their recent crisis, Cyclops is off the team as well. Actually, Cyclops has done some terrible things in his run as the leader of the X-Men and now Scott Summers ' name is something that no one is willing to even mention, which more or less leaves Storm as the de facto leader of the mutant community. It seems that the Anti-Mutant aggression is at an all-time high all over the world and they are not just your regular a...

The Clone Conspiracy #1 Review

The Clone Conspiracy #1 We came back once again as the Amazing Spider-Man has returned with a brand-new saga, written by Dan Slott ( Superior Spider-Man , The Thing ) who continues an ongoing tale of Peter Parker with artist Jim Cheung ( Avengers – The Children's Crusade , New Avengers – Illuminati ). This time he brings the Spider-Man event ' Dead No More: The Clone Conspiracy '. The comic opens up in a graveyard and we see Peter telling himself that everything he’s ever defended, every foe he has ever defeated, there is one that he cannot defeat and that is the fact that everybody dies and today is no different because they are all at a funeral of John Jonah Jameson, Sr . During this time Peter also manages to catch up on everybody else that he has lost. Gwen Stacy , Uncle Ben and many other people important to him and made him what he is today. What is really great about this is the fact that Peter just feels terrible because Aunt May just lost the secon...
