Royals #7 Review

inhumans royals comic
Royals #7
The Royal family of Inhumans finds themselves in more trouble than ever before in Royals monthly ongoing series, issue number 7. So, let's get right in. Once again as we get into the comic we are taken to five thousand years from now where we see the last Inhuman is observing an epic battle but before we can continue on with that, we actually transition over to modern day where we see another battle happening in an arena here.

Things are going a bit different. There's a lot of emotion to be tossed around specifically between one member of the Badoon named Dara Ko Eke and Captain Swain. Now, if you don't know them, they're actually a very popular race in Marvel and Swain and this is kind of in relation to some relationships and things that are going on now. While that's going on things aren't exactly progressing as well for Gorgan as he was captured by those lizard people.

Things are turning out pretty bad for him. For one, these dudes have a terrible plan to go kill the rest of The Inhumans and Medusa. However, they're not exactly going to kill them in the way you might think essentially. They're capturing them and then putting them in these crystal-like chambers you can say and taking their powers away for their own.

The Great Desert
Over with the rest of the family things aren't going any better really on essentially they want to see that obelisk that's outside that Medusa wanted to see and yeah they're standing right before it. Medusa is asking questions and they need to know more details about it even the thought of genocide gets brought up and how this is more or less that.

An Interesting Wrinkle
It's also really cool to kind of see them talk about it and talk about exactly what all these more scientific things are but there's another plan. Maximus is gonna get somewhat unhinged. Now these people here, they don't necessarily agree with everything that Medusa has done. typically the things in regards to Black Bolt but that doesn't matter right now.

Working for the Good
Maximus the Mad is quick to use his powers in collaboration with someone else and actually take Marvel-Boy and caused him massive damage. What do I mean is, he tosses him into that obelisk slash Skyscraper thing and Boris just gets electrocuted. We don't know if he's dead or alive as Maximus doesn't concern but Medusa does.

Like Gorgon's Stomp
Unfortunately, before we can find out the conclusion to that, we see that The Inhumans are of course still in the arena. There's a massive fight going on and then it's revealed that Crystal is caught. Why exactly? Well, she's caught because they take your powers and they give them to others to keep fighting in this arena and right now. Gorgon finds himself without his huff's. They've taken his powers. So, yeah. This was a pretty good comic. Honestly I think the series is progressively staying decent.

They Need Us Alive
It's dipped in quality just a little bit but that's nothing bad and that's typical with a lot of series. Overall I like it. I think the art by Kevin Libranda (Royals – Beyond Inhuman, Uncanny Avengers – Red Skull) is still great and Al Ewing (Captain America and the Mighty Avengers – Last Day, Captain America and the Mighty Avengers – Open For Business) provided a decent story here. I suggest people do read if you're interested in the Inhumans. Seven point five out of ten would be my rating to this issue.

Thanos (2016) #1 Review

Thanos (2016) #1 If you have been following comics for any amount of time recently, I don’t think that it’s a surprise at all that we’ve seen an influx of movie characters starts to take the spotlights. A couple of years ago we had Thanos Rising , which is one series that really understands The Mad Titan . This week, Marvel launched the first issue of a brand-new series featuring Thanos , which is going to put the entire spotlight on the tyrant himself and take us in a brand-new direction. So, let’s just jump right in to the story. As the book gets going, the writer here Jeff Lemire ( Essex County , Extraordinary X-Men – X-Haven ), who should be a familiar name to a lot of you takes a little bit of time to catch up with what’s been happening. The last couple of time we seen Thanos , things weren’t exactly going as good as they should have been. During Civil War II , he was defeated and he was taken down again by Doctor Doom before that in Secret Wars . So, Thanos is ki
