Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #3 |
We've seen a few other things such as Johnny Storm take a moral or you know, supporting role in this and he's really kind of getting fleshed out along with the rest of the characters.
We saw Peter Parker takes on Iron Heart and this time in this issue we're going to see him go face to face with the one and only the Kingpin of crime; Wilson Fisk. Karnak of The Inhumans makes a brief appearance in the course of the story.
Now of course this will not be the first time these characters are ever going to meet and it's definitely not going to be the last time and there's a lot of humor, that's tossed into this comics. You can definitely tell they're going into a way more funny version of spider-man than what is happening in the other series that are floating around the Marvel Comics.
The Babysitting Business |
That's not to say that this comic doesn't do it good I just think it does it a little too much which can be a problem but I understand with Johnny Storm here that that's kind of a given and what a lot of the comic is building up to is just a big action sequence but not just that.
The Tinkerer Returns |
Teresa Durand; The "Good Punisher" |
Jay Jonah Jameson Catching Up |
Johnny Storm which goes back to the whole concept of why the hell is she not wearing a mask.
So, a few things to take to note here is the fact that the art of Adam Kubert (Amazing Spider-Man – Renew Your Vows, Avengers & X-Men – Axis) really matches up the super comedic writing of Chip Zdarsky that they're going for here.
I really think that's stupid that they didn't give her a mask to just kind of get to this issue you think one person that would understand hide and seek your identities is Spider-Man overall it's not a terrible comic. I mean it's a good read but I don't know how I feel about it can with it or if I will pass the first arc for now this one gets a seven out of ten.
