Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #1 The Spectacular Spider-Man is back in New York . That's right we're here with Peter Parker ; The Spectacular Spider-Man issue number one. So, as the comic opens up we are going to be caught up on the basics of who Peter Parker is and how he got his powers. Of course they're going to kind of establish the death of his parents when he was very young. At the moment where these spider bites him and so far catching us up to what he's been doing today and as we flip the page we actually see that this is Peter Parker once again recounting his origin to someone very familiar and he says the more or less the situation he's been in lately, his responsibility has shot up.
